With 12 powerful amps to thoroughly clean carpets and hard-floor surfaces, this upright vacuum features a wide Power Trak cleaning path, seven-height adjustments, and a detachable canister vacuum for easily cleaning stairs, upholstery, and other hard-to-reach areas. The vacuum is designed with a telescoping wand and a deluxe stretch hose for hard-to-reach areas. Its HEPA filter captures over 99 percent of dust mites, pollens, and ragweed, while a filter-change indicator alerts to when the filter needs to be replaced. To avoid the hassle and ongoing expense of bags, the vacuum uses a transparent dirt container, which is easily removed and emptied for quick debris disposal. Other convenient features include a rotating-brush power switch that turns off the brush roll for hard-surface cleaning, a turbo brush built onto the upright’s handle, an Ultra Soft bumper, a soft gel-grip handle, a shoulder strap for the canister vacuum, and a 30-foot power cord for easy maneuverability. Comment: I was sold on the fact that it is supose to work well on stairs but I had to order the attachement seperately. I don't know where is the turbo brush, and shoulder strap?!

Comment: This item was shipped promptly. It came with no major blems, missing parts or problems; only careful examination would show it had been used a bit (very light scuffing on bottom plate). Excellent design, just as advertised. Bagless dust collection, like all similar designs requires regular cleaning to maintain peak efficiency but parts (3) are easily removed and can be washed quickly. Would recommend purchase of a second foam filter to use while original one is washed and drying. Bagless design light years ahead of the other big sweeper guys with messy pleated paper cylinders. Strong sustained suction and great long cord. Best for last - the 2 piece design is great, not heavy and removes and reattaches to the main unit easily and quickly. Only problem is that provided bare floor brush is inadequate and cannot be stored on board with other attachments; also hose size does not match with attachments of other sweepers I have. Had to search for an adapter to mate an older good floor attachment with the Bissell hose. Overall very pleased and the price was unbeatable.

Comment: Bagless is great, but filter-less would be better. This model has 3 separate filters that have to be cleaned ALL THE TIME. When the filters are all perfectly clean, it works great. BUT, who wants to take out these dusty dirty filters and wash them all the time? And the canister that you empty the dirt out of is small, so you have to empty it frequently. I have a dog and a cat, and a two year old, so I am vacuuming a lot, and this was not the purchase I had hoped it would be.
