Comment: I can't belief I'm writing a review for a vacuum cleaner, but this little thing is so fantastic I had to. Let's keep it short: It's got a beautiful design and color that does not need to be hidden away in a closet; it's almost weightless, cordless, handles like a champ around all corners; plus, the suction power is amazing (almost as good as my $300 Hoover) and the battery life is more than sufficient for a quick sweep.
I hate vacuuming, but this little wonder makes it bearable. Now I can keep my house free of pet hairs and dust without having to pull out that 50 pound torture device called Hoover. I can only recommend this vacuum cleaner to anyone who hates vacuuming.

Comment: I wonder if those who have rated this so highly have ever swept after using it? I get a big pile of larger size grit. This little guy does ok with the pet hair, but anything large or heavier is a problem. They can make cordless power saws with enough power, why not a cordless vacuum??
I have to empty the cup much more than expected, and hair is impossible to fully remove without dismantling and removing the filter. There's no way to tell when the filter is clogged and the cup is full, except to realize it hasn't picked anything up for a while.

Comment: I have to agree with the review done by Will, which unfortunately was posted after my purchase. I have had this vacuum for a few weeks, and I am very disappointed. I bought it to do hardwood floors and a few throw rugs. I have found that it has very weak suction and literally does not glide over carpet at all. To make matters worse, it does not seem to pick up anything from the side if you run it along the baseboards. You literally have to vacuum in the forward position only. It's good points are that it IS very flexible and flattens well to get under furniture. The design is beautiful and seems sturdy, but that just doesn't overcome the fact that it doesn't do the job. The lesson I have learned is: Don't buy a stick vacuum until you test it at a store.
