Comment: The ER6's are definitely worth the investment; I wish I woulda knew about them years ago, so I would've saved money on all the crappy earbuds I've had over the years.
I've found the buds to deliver excellent sound; crisp w a full spectrum of sound. I do not find them lacking in bass; they go quite well w my iAudio U2.
I find the flanges and the foam plug both to be comfortable; I've settled on the foam ones for now since they give me a good seal even when I'm moving around or chewing something. I'd lose a little seal when I was using the rubber ones, not a lot, but in certain positions or opening my jaw sometimes to chew on something. The foam ones did the trick and it keeps all the sound that I want in, in; and it keeps all the sound that I want out, out.
Some have made mention of hearing noise through the wire rubbing on clothing and that kind of stuff; I haven't found that problem at all.
Put away those cheapies and get some buds that'll last you for years -- you won't be disappointed.
